The Reverend Doctor Sandra Reed is a native of the Buffalo New York area. She received her BA degree in English from the State University College of New York at Buffalo; a Master's of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Bangor Theological Seminary. Reverend Reed served as Chaplain at the Seminary and was Dean of Students from September 1985 through July 1987. She served as pastor of the Union Congregational Church in Ellsworth Falls, Maine and the Trinitarian Parish Church, UCC/UMC, in Castine, Maine.
Scott "Dusty" Warner grew up in Vermont. Dusty was drafted during the war in Vietnam and began a twenty-year career in the Marine Corps. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida State University and an MBA from Boston University while on active duty. He is currently employed as a Ranger at Acadia National Park. Dusty is pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree at the Bangor Theological Seminary and serves as Assistant Pastor of the Bar Harbor Congregational Church as a part of his training for the ministry. He and his wife have four children and five grandchildren.
Paul Dickson is a relative newcomer to the area, having grown up in Connecticut and spending much of his adult life in Rhode Island. His background is in music and computers and he currently serves as organist at Trinitarian Congregational Parish in Castine, ME. He worked for about twenty years as a computer programmer for banks in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
A native South Carolinian, Kimberly Maney Haller received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from the College of Charleston, her Master of Music in Piano Performance from Southern Illinois University and studied Musicology in the Doctoral program at the University of Maryland. She has been an organist for 14 years and is active as a duo-pianist and accompanist. Kimberly, her husband Karl and their two dogs live in Monroe, Maine.
Mary Swift grew up in Vermont and moved to Maine in 1982. She received her BFA in Ceramics from Maine College of Art in Portland. Mary has made jewelry and pottery since high school. Over the years, she has taught jewelry and pottery to students of all ages. In addition to her work as Sunday School and Youth coordinator, Mary works in the Life Skills classroom at MDI High School. Currently, Mary is working toward her teaching certification in Special Education.
